Shipping and Returns
www.gearkeeper.com.au (Apollo Australia Pty Ltd) is the named Provider.
Anyone who makes any request or quotation to the provider or who buys from provider will be named the Customer.
2. WARRANTY AND REPLACEMENT POLICY
a) That upon “proof of warranty” and if required “relevant service record” Apollo Australia will repair, replace, credit or offer an upgrade at our discretion for any product or part with defects in workmanship or materials. Apollo Australia makes no representation as to suitability for use nor accepts any responsibility for any incidental damage to persons or property.
b) If repairs are carried out on products void of warranty, all labour, parts and freight costs will be charged.
c) That when the product is sold, it is sold as new.
d) The product was purchased from Apollo Australia Pty Ltd or an authorised Apollo Australia Pty Ltd retailer/dealer.
e) If a warranty replacement item is sent prior to receiving faulty items back these must be prepaid and then a credit will given when the faulty item is returned and authorised as being a true warranty. On receipt by Apollo Australia of the replaced items, all approved replacement items will be re-credited to the retailer. At all times Apollo Australia Pty Ltd will assess all warranty claims and all decisions made by us are final.
f) Damage, neglect, accident, improper repair, or fair wear and tear is not considered a product fault.
g) Items must belong to the original purchaser.
h) All items must be returned FIS (Free into Store) to Apollo Australia Pty Ltd along with warranty details and your receipt of purchase. Go to warranty registration to register your warranty or fill in an application for a (RGA) Returned Goods Authority Number. For your protection we suggest all items should be sent to us by certified or registered mail. We cannot take any responsibility for goods lost in transit.
i) If a retailer/dealer automatically replaces an item to a consumer without permission and that item can be repaired it will be returned in an operational condition and not replaced with new stock.
j)(NB) Warranty Registration on any/all products sold must be completed within 60 days of the purchase date of the goods to be valid and must include receipt of purchase. Go to the Servicing Tab on www.scubaonline.com.au to apply for Warranty Registration and to upload your receipt. Or Click Here.
3. ONE OWNER LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Products covered by this additional warranty:
Apollo Branded – Regulators and Octopus Regulators – Limited Lifetime Warranty
To activate your warranty, registration must be completed within 60 days of the purchase date of the goods to be valid and must include receipt of purchase. Once registered you must have your product serviced each & every year and service details must be added. All data and transactions such as: warranty registration, services and any notification; are maintained on GearKeeper website. To check them anytime use My Account area.
a) Each year within 30 days of the anniversary of purchase the product must be returned to an authorised Apollo dealer for service.
b) The annual mandatory replacement parts as listed in Apollo’s service manuals / website or other will be replaced free of charge provided the product has been correctly maintained.
c) Labour and inspection fee as well as any return freight will be charged to the purchaser.
d) Parts determined to be damaged by neglect, improper usage, improper maintenance, unauthorised modifications, accident, fire, fading or discolouration or improper repair by unauthorised service centres are not covered by this warranty.
e) Failure to return the product for its annual service within the allowed time will void all warranties.
f) Cosmetic damage, scratches, nicks, dents and normal wear are not covered by this warranty.
g) This warranty does not apply to rental, school, commercial or military usage.
h) This warranty does not cover, and Apollo shall not be liable for accidental or consequential damages.
i) Use of this equipment by a person not certified by an internationally recognised SCUBA Diving Training Agency shall render all warranties null and void. Such usage by uncertified or untrained persons is dangerous and could result in injury or death.
Important Notice: The above Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to products being sold and serviced in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands. Products purchased in these areas but serviced in other countries will be subject to the warranty conditions in effect in that country.
4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery to Courier constitutes delivery. Products may be delivered using Australian Post Office Services, Couriers or other Freight Company. Items are delivered to the shipping address given – please note that extra charges may apply if no one is available to sign for the goods.
Products shipped to Customers are fully insured against freight loss worldwide. The final price includes insurance.
Our Incoterms or Delivery Terms areDDU which meansDelivered Duty and Local Taxes unpaid. This means that we pay the freight to the desired point of delivery however the Customer/Purchaser is liable for any Customs Clearance charges, Duty or Taxes in that country.
All products sold by Apollo Australia Pty Ltd are covered by a 12 month warranty, and as implied by law, from date of purchase, by the end user, subject to the following conditions.
As per NSW Government Fair Trading (Australia)
If an implied condition is not met, you may offer to repair or exchange the goods but the customer has the right to insist on a refund. A refund is appropriate where the goods purchased:
Are so defective that they should not have been sold, for example they don’t work
Break down or develop a serious fault within the warranty period
Weren’t suitable for their intended purpose
Do not match the sample or description provided.
Also, goods that are ‘on sale’ should be treated in the same way as ordinary stock when determining whether or not to give a refund
a) Customer has the right to a refund under certain conditions. All requests must be done via our (RGA) Returned Goods Authority Number. Click here repairs & returns.
b) We reserve the right to refuse a refund in the event the Customer violates the Terms & Conditions on this website.
Any returns for whatever reasons need to be registered here and a (RGA) Returned Goods Authority Number will be issued to you.
If goods are returned without an RGA you will be instructed go to repairs & returns to complete an RGA Application.
If no RGA Application is received within 14 Days we reserve the right to either return the goods (Freight Forward) or if no return address has been given to dispose of the said goods.
If for any reason whatsoever you are unhappy with goods delivered these may be returned within 7 days of receipt of purchase. Goods returned for any reason whatsoever must be freight prepaid and an application for a (RGA) Returned Goods Authority Number is mandatory.
